CQC says care homes failing to train staff in deprivation of liberty safeguarding
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has warned that a significant minority of care homes are failing to give staff appropriate training in the deprivation of liberty safeguards (DOLS), which is leading to poor practice and human rights breaches. Headway Global Picnic
Headway, an organisation we are proud to work with, are organsing a world-wide event to raise awareness of brain injury, set to take place at the end of June. Brain injury associations, charities and related organisations from across the world are being encouraged to take part in the Global Picnic on 30 June.
