Lifestyle

The lifestyle at Kings Lodge is relaxed, friendly and very comfortable.  Our attention to detail extends throughout the Home to ensure that you are happy, safe and secure.

  • Attractive, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms with the majority having en-suite facilities.
  • Mature and colourful landscaped gardens with an extensive patio seating area to enjoy and meet with families and friends.
  • Our ever growing menagerie!  We have a pond full of wildlife, a rabbit called Roger and even our own chickens!
  • Our Home is equipped with cutting-edge multimedia technology to allow you to surf the net, email family and friends or even set up a webcam for a virtual face to face chat.
  • An open door and welcome approach in a safe and secure environment for family and friends to visit at all times allows residents to entertain exactly as they would in their own homes.

Activities

An apple a day may keep the doctor away but keeping the mind, body and soul active is a great recipe for longer living and happiness!

We have developed a variety of activities which will create an interesting, fun and stimulating environment to live in. These enhance important feelings of self-worth whilst supporting diminishing skills. We tailor a broad range of activities to achieve many objectives: the importance for some is maintaining strength, flexibility and finding balance; for others, it is stimulation, interaction and finding enjoyment in what they do.

Our Activities for this Autumn include:

  • Harvest Festival celebrations
  • A Pamper session
  • Making Christmas decorations
