Kings Lodge is situated in the village of South Nutfield, near Redhill, in the heart of rural Surrey. The Home stands amongst stunning mature trees and is surrounded by the beautiful Surrey countryside. The property is a large Edwardian country residence that has been extended and tastefully converted into a Nursing Home.
Surrey is the most wooded county in the UK and the Surrey Hills area of outstanding natural beauty stretches across a quarter of the county. The combination of countryside and towns in Surrey means there are lots of popular and famous attractions to discover in just a short journey.
Close by is the historic market town of Reigate which sits at the foot of the North Downs and is only 21 miles from London. Reigate dates back to around the time of the Battle of Hastings and there are many places of interest to see, both in and outside the town.
A significant part of Reigate is designated a Conservation Area and there are many specialist shops including crafts, antiques and clothing not to mention the range of restaurants, cafes and pubs. In fact, it has a reputation as a gourmet area.
